I guess being patient really does pay off!

Ok, so it's been a LONG time since my last post.  Hopefully, people can still find this blog.  I let my .com expire (thinking that I wasn't going to need it), so it's back to .blogspot.com.  If you "like" babee cakes on FB then you may have seen me hint to some big news.  It's actually 2 bits of news that have me extremely excited.

I should have access to a commercial kitchen in the next few weeks!  The current plan is to change my work schedule so that on Tuesday and Thursday mornings I can bake.  The official start of this is still up in the air, but it's coming!

I also discovered that on September 1, 2011 TX enacted a cottage baking law.  What the heck is that?  Well, basically it says I can bake from my home!!!  There are some restrictions and rules, but it's progress!  I've adjusted the menu to reflect the flavors that I will not be able to sell from home.

I've secured a new domain and I'm working on new business cards.  I'm hoping an actual website will be coming soon!
